HGCIA (Houston Gulf Coast Irrigation Association) is an organization is comprised of elected officials, and was created to bring to both gulf coast irrigators and homeowners alike all the latest laws and information available for the irrigation industry. The reasons why we exist are..

TO FORM A RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER PROFESSIONALS IN OUR INDUSTRY AND TO PROVIDE THE INTERESTED CONSUMER WITH INFORMATION TO ASSURE THEM OF QUALITY PROFESSIONAL IRRIGATION ASSISTANCE.

TO PROMOTE THE COMPLIANCE OF EXISTING LAWS AND TO WORK WITH GOVERNING AGENCIES TO PLAN THE DIRECTION OF NEW LAWS AND PROMOTING WATER CONVERSATION IN OUR EVERYDAY USAGE.

TO ASSIST AND DEVELOP THE EDUCATION PROCESS FOR LICENSED IRRIGATORS IN ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR BUSINESS.

TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF LOCAL AND STATE LAWS GOVERNING IRRIGATION INSTALLATIONS AND THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY.

TO GATHER A GROUP OF SIMILAR PROFESSIONALS TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE AND ADDRESS BUSINESS ISSUES THAT PROMOTE OUR PROFESSION AS WELL AS OUR OWN PROFESSIONALISM.

TO PROVIDE A STRONGER VOICE FOR WIDE RANGING ISSUES SUCH AS POLITICS AND LOCAL INSURANCE NEEDS.

TO GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES. BY WORKING AS A GROUP WE CAN PROVIDE "PRO BONO" SUPPORT FOR IRRIGATION PROJECTS IN PARKS OR SCHOOLS.
